Thought this may help some of our members find ammo since many are having a hard time finding any. If you know of someplace that has any post it on here to share for others.

AGCA Gun Show at the Finley Center at Hoover met October 10th-11th. Might be able to get some ammo there. Problem is it might be $60.00 for 50 round box.

It is really getting hard to find unless you do not mind paying unbelievable prices as most everyone knows. I will never understand why people wait until times like this to start wanting to purchase it. My feelings are purchase regularly especially when you do not need it then times like these will not affect you. I load most of what I personally shoot.

Many do not remember the Sandy Hook Incident, right afterwards ammo flew off the shelf. I had ammo but learned a valuable lesson from that. If it can happen once it could happen again… and it has.

I’ve got my stash. It’s “more than I can carry”, but it’s not a huge stack. If all you’re doing is going to the range, a bag of ammo is fine. If you’re trying to be ready to defend your family and home, you need more. Ammo goes fast when you’re engaging hostiles.

I have 600 rds of 115gr fmj 9mm that can be bought. Here is the back story. A young man inherited some ammo and guns ( among a great many other things) from an uncle. The young man also inherited 7 storage lockers and the 2500 dollar a month rent. I told him that I would help him sell some of the ammo to offset the cost of the storage units. The guns will appear on our auction when I get them cleaned and ready. AGT is not making any money on the ammo we are just trying to help the kid out. He wants 20 dollars for a box of 50 and he has left 12 boxes with me to sell for him. I would rather sell it locally for him because I don’t want to have to fool with ordinance stickers and UPS pickup for just 12 boxes. If anyone is interested let me know.

Has anyone been to the Firearms & Ammunition Center at Maxwell AFB (inside main Exchange)?

No ma’am. I’ve been at other installations but not air force. They might have somewhat different protocols in place there.
